On August 20, 2021, the State Administration for Market Regulation (Standardization Administration) released the national standard GB/T 20728-2021, entitled "Measurement of Fluid Flow in Closed Conduits—Guidance for the Selection, Installation, and Use of Coriolis Flowmeters." This new standard is set to be officially enforced on March 1, 2022, replacing the former standard, GB/T 20728-2006.

Chengdu Andisoon Measurement Co., Ltd. is pleased to have contributed to the development of the national standard "Measurement of Fluid Flow in Closed Conduits—Guidance for the Selection, Installation, and Use of Coriolis Flowmeters." This standard was initiated by TC124, implemented by TC124SC1, and overseen by the China Machinery Industry Federation.

Attending the Standard Drafting Meeting

The rollout of this standard will offer detailed specifications and recommendations for choosing, installing, and utilizing Coriolis flowmeters for mass flow, density, and volume flow measurement in China. This will drive the industry towards a new direction and underscore advancements in current instrument manufacturing technology, aligning with the practical requirements of production and utilization.
